Just a few things to help you get your hands on some reading material!
How do I find books in the Eastern Library?
Click on "Fetch" to search for books through our online library catalog.
Where are reviews of books I want to read? Fetch
As you are searching for books you can click on the book you are interested in. Next click on the red "more info" button at the bottom of that page. The page that pops up might have reviews or excerpts that you can read to find out more about that book.
Some books in Fetch also have video reviews. Look for the the video button next to the "copy available" button.
Dogo Books
This link will take you to a website with lots of book reviews, ratings from other kids around the country, and sometime the opportunity to read the first few pages of the book: https://www.dogobooks.com/
I don't have every book on this website in the library but you can find books on Fetch, then type them in on DOGO to find out more!
Already have a library card? You can call for a pin number (if you don't already have one) to use their digital resources like BookFlix, Hoopla, and Cloud Library for electronic and audio versions of thousands of books.
No library card? Get an e-Card for all the same great digital options! It's free, and you never have to leave your house to pick-up or return books!
Always remember that there is adult material accessible here, so monitor your kids when using these resources.
